As a follow-up to Santorum's long series of ballot issues, I thought it be appropriate to publicize this. Newt is in the same boat as Santorum. Romney has good organization, and to be fair to him, is pretty close behind Paul in ballot access, and I am sure he will make it too. Romney has money-muscle and Paul has grassroots volunteer-muscle.
I know this is probably too complex for you to grasp, but getting on the ballot is the first and basic step in winning. If you don't get on the ballot, you don't qualify for the delegates.

He's been on the ballot in every contest thus far. And he hasn't won one state or territory.
Its all about the delegates folks. Santorum "won" Missouri but is getting his butt handed to him as far as delegates are concerned. Same in Minnesota and Colorado. Oh and its just a matter of opinion that Paul hasn't won a contest yet. He won Maine any fool could see that.
^Paul will stick around only because he wants to continue to do 'Money Bombs' and take money from people with little to no hope of any return on investment. Americans continue to not be very savvy with their money, even in these slightly depressed times.
Well, he has joined the ranks of, say, Harold Stassen, who also managed to be on the ballot in all states during his bids for presidency. He missed winning in 2000 by thismuch.
His supporters believe he would have won the next election, if he hadn't died.
