Like to hear what the material was, because if it exists we should be using it. You might be thinking of the fabric they sometimes use while building up asphalt. They used some on the county road out front and it did add several years to the asphalt paving and the only problem areas are the braking zones where trucks traffic is starting to delaminate the asphalt. Held up well, the only issue is, did the added cost of the fabric pay for itself in added life.
The only thing wrong with this country is it is being built by the low bidder.
