Brief summary: Baby is coming premature, midwife tells mom she should go to the hospital. Baby is born in the ambulance enroute. In the hospital room, they won't give her her baby until she consents to a Vitamin K and Hep B vaccine. Mom is hesitant. They keep the baby, while escorting her off the premises! She is told that she can come back to nurse the baby, every 3 hours.

Quote:
“The police made Jodi Ferris get up out of her hospital bed and escorted her to the entrance – they were expelling her from the hospital because she had not signed the ‘safety plan.’”
She was escorted off the hospital grounds.
But she had been told she could return every three hours to nurse the baby, so the couple was forced to spend the night in a car in the parking lot of a nearby Wal-Mart.
“You read that right. They kicked this mother out of the hospital, and in order to be close enough to feed her child, she had to sleep in the car,” Farris reported.
A hearing the next morning returned the baby to her parents immediately.
Quote:
“Both the medical personnel and the social worker engaged in outrageous behavior toward this family. And we believe that they violated their rights under the Constitution of the United States. And we are going to court to prove it,” Farris said.

Yup that's the state for ya. And state social workers.

Always getting it wrong.

However it's ok for welfare queens to pop out ten gremlins and suck at the teet of government.

can we get it from a more REPUTABLE site than World Nut Daily's spin on what happened?

ETA: The only other sites reporting this are blog sites (not news sites) which are word for word copies of each other.

Where is the police report #
What is the name of the Social Worker?

etc etc.

Totally not trustworthy to believe at this point.

No the details are just fine. If you look up the mothers name a story comes up in one of the local area on line newspapers with all the same facts.

I know I thought the same thing.

I did, and it was in their BLOG section. Not front page. not the Local News section. THE BLOG section as an editorial. That isn't news. Its hearsay.

If this was newsworthy, it wouldn't be in the opinion section of a news site.

then provide a reputable source the story. its been 12 hours since WND's posting, and that was a copy and paste of a blog that reported it around teh same time.

If this was as bad as it sounds, then the local news would have picked it up already.

ETA: A pilot goes crazy on Jet Blue and that is on the news within 3 hours of it happening.
