I'd agree with you if there had been an actual effective investigation from the beginning. The only reason we have an attempt at an investigation now (special prosecutor, FBI) is because of your so-called "halfwits" who kept the pressure up for justice.
Hardly. Nobody was really interested in the course of the investigation, especially the fact that a witness stepped forward and the shooter had injuries consistent with the witness' testimony. Nope. Everybody was more interested in creating a hagiography for this poor dead kid and using it to stir the pot.
And, while we're at it, why do the Al Sharptons of the world hate vigilante action in some cases and endorse it in others? After all people such as Spike Lee tweeting the former address of this Zimmerman cat to everybody on the planet nearly led to some innocent people nearly coming to harm. A bit hypocritical, if you ask me.
That apology addresses the “Today” show’s failure to abridge accurately the conversation between Zimmerman and the dispatcher in this high-profile case. This is how the program portrayed a segment of that conversation:
Zimmerman: This guy looks like he’s up to no good. He looks black.
And here is how it actually went down:
Zimmerman: This guy looks like he’s up to no good. Or he’s on drugs or something. It’s raining and he’s just walking around, looking about.
Dispatcher: OK, and this guy — is he black, white or Hispanic?
Zimmerman: He looks black.
This is why I can't stand so much of the TV and even internet media. There should be some regulations and fines for incorrect information, especially when these media companies purposely tweak it to fit their hidden agenda. I hope as time goes on, everyone sees what a bunch of BS artists half these news companies are.

More than a bit hypocritical. Downright transparent, unapologetic hypocrisy.

You don't think Martin's parents and family were interested in why nothing, really, had been done?

Why don't you ask Al Sharpton?

It is now being reported that Zimmerman was a community organizer that led a protest of the Sanford police in the past over the death of a black homeless man in the community.
