So sorry, my friend.....its one of those hellholes in the Poconos.
As an interior designer, I am sure I will have nightmares about it tonight.

Kills me, that the so-called personal liberty, personal responsibility party is full of folks that want to get all up in your bidness.

I mean, seriously, why even comment on where someone is going for their vacation? Don't these people have real problems to deal with?

when this president has added about $6 trillion to the debt, ans tells us we need shared sacrifice, yes, i would expect him to stop blowing millions on family trips all across the freaking globe, and at least act like he gives a ****.

We are paying for this lavishness, it's not about respecting his "personal liberty, personal responsibility" when it's on our borrowed dime.

Because even if he did that, you'd complain about it. If for no other reason, because you'd perceive it to be a "faint-hearted attempt" (in your own words) so it's a lose-lose right out of the gate with your type. If thats' the case, sign me up for the fancy schmancy vacation, because folks like you won't be happy anyways. Seriously, your complaining about the Obama's vacation choices just makes you sound bitter, petty and jealous.

Your feigned outrage is noted, and appropriately dismissed as not a real problem.

[feignedoutrage] They could get ice cream anywhere! Why didn't they get ice cream in Virginia? Is Virginia ice cream too low class and common for them? [/feignedoutrage]

Oh gosh! The Repugs in here who are so JEALOUS of successful people!!!!

Well, why don't you jealous people take some personal responsibility???

Pull yourselves up by your bootstraps?!!!

Work really hard and run for the Presidency and win.....it's open to all of you hard working Repugs.

Quit wasting your time being JEALOUS of those who have more, whining like spoiled two-year-olds and take some personal responsibility, earn more money!!! Then you won't have to pay so much taxes and you'll be so rich you not only can do what the Obamas do but you'll have so much money you won't have to whine about the pittance you pay in taxes!!!

What are you waiting for????

This may have been mentioned earlier, but I did want to point out that I saw a thread here on CD just last week with many of you involved complaining about how the president and his family never vacation in the US and now that they are you are still complaining.

You are all too funny!!!

ETA: What is so bad about going to Las Vegas. My family is going there next year for a family reunion and we are even planning on getting a bus to go visit the Grand Canyon while we're there. I'm looking forward to even seeing the casinos and going to some shows. Vegas has a lot to offer.
