yes its very sad what has happened to tiger woods. truly disgusting how american society can guilt him into apologizing for doing something that is only natural - something that all men around the world (except the US apparently ) do.
OK - so the advertisers left him because he is fat and ugly. Media Matters spends all of their time and efforts because he is fat and ugly.

Rush's problem is he is fat and ugly. If Brad Pitt was caught talking like that people would dismiss it as 'boys being boys' or something.
It's more than that, it is the fact that all potential Presidential candidates in the GOP bow down before him for his blessing, and that his drug fueled rants behind a microphone make him the nominal leader of a major political party.
That elevates his game, and makes his more particularly vile commentary fair game. It took angering women in general to raise the outrage to a national level. He still gets away with his veiled racist commentary. If he did not have the influence he did amongst Republicans he would not be held to the standard he is.
He is a good barometer of how far a once proud political institution has fallen.
