Is it right to make death threats against George Zimmerman and his family? ABC News isn't sure. In a Good Morning America segment today on the Trayvon Martin case, as an ABC reporter spoke from Sanford, Florida, this graphic was displayed across the bottom of the screen:

"ARE DEATH THREATS GOING TOO FAR?" Video and screencap after the jump.
ABC Not Sure Whether Death Threats In Trayvon Martin Aftermath 'Going Too Far' | NewsBusters.org

What happened to that call for a New Civility we heard about last year? You remember, the one where Obama made the speech everyone hailed?

Did the media not pay attention? I would think death threats fall under "incivility".

America society thrives with death threats. Various people, from politicians to celebrities, receive death threats. Death threats are a part of American 'civilty'.

We've had death threats since we've had mankind.

Find something else to complain about.

Death threats just give the Zimmerman's another reason to defend their lives like George did the first time.

The same media that lectured us last year about the need for "civility" is now wondering if death threats are going to far.
