You have an equal right. You can marry someone of a different sex, just like I can.
You cant marry someone of the same sex , just like I cant.

But you can get married in one state and move to any other state and it be legal.
I can not get married in a state where it is legal, and move to Mississippi and it still be legal. See the difference?

marriage is tricky. it involves mega legal rights. that is the real issue and the only reason 4 the government involvement. needs to be decided in court not by voters.

gays are not seeing the real danger in all this
do u want to give the right to take your salary pension and property away from you bek your roommate does not like u anymore.

But my marriage is legal. I have a marriage certificate and everything. Why do you get special rights to have your marriage accepted through the federal government?

I did try marrying a man. Luckily he is still my best friend. But many marriages like that do not turn out so well.

She is not my roommate, she is my partner in life. Is your spouse only your roommate? Do all roommates go get married?

That is the same type of argument used in Loving v. Virginia, it failed.

i am assuming the she is a he.
but u know what? it does not matter. your deep seated conviction is that divorce just cant happen ever, bek u KNOW this person and u KNOW it cant happen to you. and why? bek its GAY divorce which is an impossibility. gay people dont do this kind of stuff to each other.
trust me, straight or gay we all feel the same way when we stand on the altar.
42 million divorces later since 1975, no fault. 67% actual divorce rate 79% second round. being gay wont make any difference.
when the ship goes down and the shark comes around doesnt matter gay or straight the meat tastes the same.

No she is a she, and so am I. No one goes into a marriage thinking about divorce. I'm sure that many many gays will divorce, just like many many heteros do.
I was referring to your remark about my "roommate". Do you call hetero married couples roommates too?
And what is "bek"
