Actually more dangerous than a gun in many respects.
Many ways? Please expound.
This ruling is abhorrent to the Constitution. What part of "unreasonable search and seizure" does this court not understand?
My country is headed down a scary path. Our Government was never intended to have this much power over its "subjects".
This SCOTUS continues to **** on the Constitution. The Constitution is supposed to give power to the people over the government, not the other way around.

**** this bull****.
What part of being searched upon entry to a correctional facility is unreasonable?
Never intended? Wow. Okay, most jails (all?) are administered by county governments = state. The bill of rights didn't apply to states until the 14th amendment, and even then it is not wholly incorporated.
You know what that means? Prior to the civil war, state and local cops didn't even need a warrant or probable cause, or even reasonable suspicion to search you (well, they might have, but only if it was state law)... Oh, but, geeze, this is just so scary, and clearly the founding fathers didn't intend it... Gimme a break, dude.
