Repealing the 18th amendment was a good thing, unless you enjoy huge government, religious fanatic laws. FDR also is about as far away from fascism as it gets. On the contrary, he saved the world from fascist tyranny.

That's exactly why it's funny to see him try to appear strong and in control of this situation when in fact, he's weak and unqualified. Even his appointees can't help him, this bad law is going down.

Obama is projecting again when he speaks of judicial activism. Just look at Justices Kagan, Sotomayor now on the SCOTUS bench and tell me that he wasn't counting on judicial activism with those two appointees.

AG-Holder for judicial activism via the DOJ anyone?

After Obama sullied the Supremes during th SOTU address, i'd say what he has coming to him is well deserved.

Their latest strip search ruling shows the government lawyers for life (the supremes) are just as fascist as Obama, but we can hope he pisses them off enough with his rhetoric that they may actually have a moment of clarity and strike it down.

We now have fascist tyranny with Obama. Fascism comes in many flavors and is not exclusive to "right wing" politics.

So you think it was appropriate that FDR threatened to stack SCOTUS until he got his way? That is exactly how we ended up with the income tax and the IRS. The Chief Justice at the time admitted "we had to destroy the US Constitution to save the Supreme Court".

Obama issues stern language on Supreme Court health care decision | The Ticket - Yahoo! News

I seem to remember that alot of laws are passed by democratically elected representitives in the several states and alot of democrats and republicans want judges to stikes them down as unconstitutional as well.

obamacare should also be struck down.

He SHOULD have no say, but this was clearly a pathetic attempt at intimidation. Unbecoming of a President. Not the first time he's done something unPresidential.
