What evidence do you have that the DOJ obviously does not?

nothing arpaio is being accused of is an arrestable offense. basically the DoJ seeks to slap arpaio with a court appointed babysitter so he'll clean up his act.

And yes, I see what you did there. Shame on you.

Sheriff Joe won't be "turning up the heat" on anyone but himself; clearly he's run out of firewood. And shame? Some people just don't grasp that characteristic.

Depriving a person ag their civil rights is an indictable offence, is it not?

It wouldn't matter if they had all kinds of evidence on the guy. The DOJ is not focused on the LAW and that is not disputable to anyone who knows anything about American history. It's political in nature and all it's doings are constrained by that fact. Tell me, What good was the DOJ when it had solid evidence on the crimes of Nixon? They were totally useless and it took a loose cannon inside the FBI {Deep throat} spilling the beans to journalists to bring RMN to any kind of justice.

You just can't have any kind of decent justice systems long as the system has to answer to politicians.

Hahahaha!

He is an elected official, not an appointed police chief.

There is a big difference in getting him fired.

The Sheriff has more power than the appointed DOJ, to take care of his constituents, that elected him.

You make it sound as if the US Constitution is a chain on the people and not the federal government.

There have been lots of Sheriffs arrested and convicted of crimes. You think being elected gives you some kind of "Get out of jail free" card or something?
