That's beautiful...and exactly what she needs. That or an extra large size sewing kit.

And because so many people think like you do --"That's just the way it is..ahh well" is exactly why this world is circling the drain. Too many people want to keep their heads down and eyes averted so nothing ever changes.

Yet when it comes to raising taxes to cover this the heads come up, the eyes get sharpened and the outrage starts.

I'm a realist. I don't like it and would love for someone beside me and you covering her stupidity but so far no one's stepped forward to feed those kids.

What is your solution ?? Don't knock it if you've not got a solution.

The situation with Octomom is a rock in a hard place.

No employer will hire her because she has too many kids, which means she can't earn her own living and must receive government assistance to support these kids.

CPS can't remove the kids from the home unless they're being abused or neglected, which they're not.

So what can you do...

What we've always done..hand them money.
Only the trend of people needing that "hand them money" is growing.
What will you do when they outnumber those who have the money to give ?

I can't believe some people are surprised. How stupid. NO way she could earn enough money to support 15 kids AND stay above the poverty line. I read the poverty line for her would be 135k so she would have to make more than 135k.
And 2,000 is nothing considering she's in California and has 15 kids. At least she genuinely can not support her kids. That's what welfare is for.

And Octomom isn't alone. Remember Angel Adams ? This is the homeless woman(37) with 15 kids complaining the government isn't doing enough to help her. And she's now pregnant with #16 FYI.

Somebody has to make up for the low birth rates. They sure are trying hard.

But this is beyond even exponential growth. And poverty breeding more poverty at a greater than 10x multiple is not the direction we want to go in.

Adds a new dimension to the term WELFARE SOW.

Personally, I think she, the piglets, and her whole clan, need to be deported to wherever it is that people with names like 'Nadya Souleman' come from.

And whatever flaw in our immigration system it is that allowed her family into this country in the first place NEEDS TO BE FIXED. A certain someone needs to be 'fixed', too.

Oh, and on the subject of Welfare Sow Extraordinaire Angel Adams, this ersatz update: http://thedailycricket.com/2011/12/0...latio-lessons/
