There was an arrest....I guess if the criminals said the man went for their hammer the could've claimed self-defense under the stand your ground law and been released.
Anyway, I do feel for the UNIDENTIFIED, RACE NOT SPECIFIED victim and I hope that justice is served. I am glad that he survived the attack.

In the days of civilized conduct there were rules - even for assault or street fighting...only cowards and mad men take a weapon and attempt to cave in the other guys scull...You just would not consider such a savage thing..But I guess most of the thugs these days have no real street fighting skills..
If the man had defended himself with a handgun there would have been hell to pay.
Nonsense, people defend themselves with handguns all the time without a peep or any questions asked.
Comparing EVERY murder to that of Trayvon Martin is getting really old. This has nothing to do with it, nor does it justify his killing. Since people keep referring to those of us who want justice for Trayvon or are empathetic and compassionate toward his parents as lefties can someone please tell me why the "righties" are only outraged when the victim is white and the culprits are black? Can someone explain why righties are incapable of compassion and turn their backs on children of God but claim to be men/women of God?
In case you missed my last post, once again I feel for the victim and hope that justice is served. I am glad that he survived the attack. If he had defended himself with a handgun, I certainly woudn't have taken issue with it. There is a difference between people who assault someone and steal a car and a boy being followed then killed while on his way back from a convenience store. If you don't get that, you are either an idiot or evil.
