There are women only clubs in existence. Sometimes the guys just want to hang with the guys. I am sure most women feel the same. Why should anyone even care?
Exactly! Both sexes have their own clubs etc. It only becomes a problem if it's a mens club. I wonder why?
They don't have to allow women, but that doesn't mean they can't catch heat for having the rule.
Why should they catch heat? That's their business and they are entitled to it. Women have their private clubs. You don't see men beating on the door to join.
They can do whatever they want but IMO it seems they do it out of spite more than anything.

No I don't and I am a woman and I play golf. They are a private organization and have every right to determine who can be members and who can't. Are senior gated communities excluding non-seniors from residency there out of spite? I don't think so! Seems like far too many are on the "discrimination" band wagon these days.
What about the boy scouts and the girl scouts? They are separate organizations for the two different genders. Should we outlaw them also?

You are right, they are entitled to do it whatever they want to do. Here is the flip side, people are entitled to have their opinions about about the they club runs their business. Its not the club is going to change, but that still doesn't mean they are free from being criticism.
Nothing is stopping men from calling out curves for excluding men. Just because you may not care that there are women only clubs or men only clubs doesn't mean other people don't care about it.
This may not make sense, but I'm going to try to explain this to people. When you are a race or gender that has been the dominant group for a long period of time, you are going to face more criticism than other groups. White men have long been and still are the dominant race and gender in this country. They have the most wealth, they have the most control in corporate america, and they have long history of discriminating against other groups. The reality is because they are seen as the dominate group, they are going to catch the most heat whenever discrimination is around. Nobody cares about women only clubs, nobody cares about NAACP, nobody cares about other minority groups or groups focused on women. Augusta national has a long history of disciminating against anybody who isn't a white male. That is a fact. That is the reason people care about a woman being given a membership to this club.
