"Hear me people: We now have to deal with another race--- small and feeble when our fathers first met them, but now great and overbearing. Strangely enough they have a mind to till the soil and the love of possessions is a disease with them. These people have made many rules which the rich may break but the poor may not. They take their tithes from the poor and weak to support the rich and those who rule."
Chief Sitting Bull

whaddya think about these words?

That is because Sitting Bull is describing people like yourself, you cannot see your own reflection in what he said

Spot on words.
I just heard on the news today that the US is the number one consumer purchaser of plastic junk, er, exports from Asia (China in particular).
They don't like the poor, either.

Don't worry about the comments, OP.
Some people will post because they are afraid that the accusation is true and can't accept it.

Sounds just like every other primitive group that ever existed and had their way of life destroyed by a more modern civilization.

The strong survive, the weak are swallowed up and left as ancient memories.

this is true, examine the word "modern" though.

modern = aggressive, bloodthirsty, more competitive, less able to exist in harmony with surroundings

Agree, Mankind has and always will be an expansionist aggressive competitive society, those who feel otherwise are the ones who cease to exist...

Bloodthirsty is in the eyes of the beholder...

I do not think we as a species have ever existed in harmony with our surroundings or each other. Existing in harmony with nature is subjective to opinion on how to correctly accomplish it. If anything, it is better now than it ever was in regards to existing with others that are different. The Native Americans were quite combative between tribes. They certainly dominated the weak (tribes) and supported the chiefs who ruled. Of course some worked together as well, but no different than what we as a species have always done. At our core, we are still animals. You can only legislate innate behavior so much.

Much like the various Native American tribes all did to each other.
