It has always been a violation of the UCMJ to use "contemptuous words" or to bring "discredit" upon the armed forces. The history behind the law goes back to before our Revolution. The only people "embracing" this idiot as a "hero" are the ACLU and moron Democrats that have never served in the military.
I realise that, what I was refering to was the fact that those who were gainst the war and tried to get out were viewed as traitors by the right while Bush was president but now are seen as hero's by those same people. And I do not know of any democrat who views this marine as a hero. look at past posts and you will see that only republicans are viewing this guy as a hero. Even republicans in congress see him as a hero.
