Following Poem, Israel Bars Entry To Guenter Grass

Guenter Grass Poem: 'What Must Be Said' - ABC News

Seems to be a full blown controversy over there. I think they just should have accepted the criticism. If they do attack Iran, then there's a high likelihood it would start a nuclear war. Yes, Iran has threatened Israel, but who has Iran not threatened. I think this was a very immature reaction of Israel.
He's written abd spoke out against fascism and antisemitism. He also " argued for the continued separation of the two German states, asserting that a unified Germany would necessarily resume its role as belligerent nation-state."
Since Israel seems to be very eager to attack Iran, I think it's appropriate to say they threaten world peace. Of course they won't want to hear this and play the Nazi card. I would have expected a more mature response from Israel, but I guess my standards were too high.

Au contraire, it is the Islamic garbage whih continues to threaten the peace, and it is Israel's willingness to play rough which sustains it.

The only guarantee Israel holds against ever being hit by a nuclear weapon is the simple fact that none of her enemies has been allowed to develop one. Conversely, there's only one way for Syria, or even Iran, to ever find out if the Israelis might have secreted a neuclar weapon somewhere in the wilds of the Golan Heights next to a likely invasion route,

If that bluff is ever called, and the Islamo-fascists have a nuke of their own, the game gets very deadly. Better to keep things as they are now, and let the foe continue to stagnate in their own overbreeding and stupidity. They seem to have a limitless supply of those.

Good Poem. Someone should look at all the US bases surrounding Iran then you wouldn't claim Iran is the threat to the world but Israel and the US are.

Who has Iran not threatened? Right... Nobody wants them to have nukes, but they have been overly eager to wage a war despite the fact that there are no signs that they are anywhere close to having nukes. And this just wouldn't be some war, it would probably a nuclear war.
Rreacting like this to criticism just makes them look bad.
