I have been wondering what may happen to us if Obama manages to bully the Court into allowing his "baby" to stand. Will they try to force us all to buy Volts or some other kind of "green" car? Will they demand that we give in to any of the other desires of either political lean? Where will they stop?

What Else Will the Government Force Us to Buy if ObamaCare is Ruled Constitutional? - Godfather Politics

Many laws, rules, regulations that have stiflled our freedoms and liberties in the last ten years have been 'for your safety'. If Obamacare stands, they will be able to mandate things 'for your health'. A couple of hundred times in the 2700 pages of Obamacare there is reference to the words 'to be determined by the Secretary'.

Roy, you have nothing to fear (as usual). You're already on Medicare.

OMG-

Roy, is it true? You have already paid into and now receive government mandated health care?

Didn't the OP post this same discussion the other day? Get over it. The Congress passed this law. It was part of the democratic process. If you don't like living in the USA with a democratic system of government than choose another country. As far as the Supreme Court is concerned, almost every President during the past 5 decades which I remember has criticized the Court. If you took the time to listen to the President's statement on Monday you wouldn't write such goofy sounding comments. God Bless America! And save America from the extremists.

...and if the Supreme Court holds the law to be unconstitutional, then what comment will you have,.....that the "democratic system" worked as designed by our forefathers? That is what is great about living in America,...the system of check and balance work for the people not the dictators.

Unfortunately for you in this situation it doesn't work that way, maybe in Mexico it does but not here. (and even then, since the drug cartels control Mexico it really doesn't have many politicians who will pass laws that upset the applecart or else they get the El Decapitacion Especial....

SCOTUS has the final say on any law or program Congress or the Senate passes.

THEY are the ones who decide if the law or program goes against the Constitution, they are the final say PERIOD.

Yes other Presidents have criticized SCOTUS, but none them have gone as far as His Holiness obama:

Quote:
That an unelected group of people would somehow overturn a duly constituted and passed law
The extremists are obama and his gaggle of illiterate teleprompter speech writers and socialist advisers...

IF the law is allowed to stand, one must wonder how many Americans will simply tell the government to "go to hell", and still not buy the insurance? I'll wager there will be many who test the system.

What a boondoggle of a law!!!! America is already broke, and the clown in the White House has pushed through a law that will ENSURE that bankruptcy will stand due to the TRILLIONS of national debt it will incur. Could we possibly elect someone more hellbent on destroying this country? What a George Soros puppet...........
