Don't think that power hungry people don't read how power is attained... those who want more power , they study excessively ,they manipulate, they test the waters to see what they can get away with and they break boundaries. Those that love power have been groomed for it , live and breath it, it is any means to an end attitude.

Watch for those who are too hungry , too bold to get power, and dismiss others who oppose them . They will manipulate the people with their words that are not true to sway the masses.

They will lie, use people and ideas, promising everything and gaining power because of it. those that do this feeds on their power and becomes an entity which is ego driven and will strive to feed that ego to attain their own goals not the peoples .

Phase One, 1933-1934

A new Reichstag election was scheduled for early March 1933. Only a few days before the election, on February 27, the Reichstag building was partially destroyed by fire. The Nazis may well have set the blaze, but they blamed the Communists, charging that the Communists were plotting to seize power. Hitler convinced Hindenburg to take strong action against the supposed Communist threat, and the president suspended freedom of speech and the press and other civil liberties.

Hitler's Rise to Power
So basically scapegoat the Communists and convince Americans, I mean people that Communists are out to destroy the country.

It would be great if the Right wingers learned history from books in school instead of from Fox TV and radio talk shows.

For every bad thing that Republicans do in this arena..... the Democrats do as well

They use women of lower education as pawns
They use racism as a tool to promote guilt and self hate
They demonize political opposition

So, as a partisan that you are, how could you possibly see the truth?

And here are the qualifiers:
1- Populism. Appease the majority, striking where it would have the greatest impact and that is ALWAYS emotional. The impact of religion usually trumps them all. It is also why Hitler promoted self as a big time Christian, with Christian values. He literally wanted all Christians under a big umbrella, that would be easier to control rather than a society that is secular and free. Mussolini "fathered" the Vatican.

2- Powerful Backing. Money and power rules. If you notice, both Hitler and Mussolini had the backing of the monied, powerful interests. It is also something Putin has engaged in, promoting oligarchy.

These make for their support system, which they want to govern through.

Last night msnbc was quoting the bible what Jesus said about giving food and clothing.. msnbc is using God , not in religion, but in politics.. they want us to give to the government to give to those who sponge on welfare for generations.. we are not fooled. God said to help the infirm. Not the spongers who don't want to work or find work. They want everything free.. don't think God is some entity that gives to the lazy. No, God wants us to work and work diligently .

Those who look for a handout constantly are not those that Jesus spoke of.

Msnbc always spouting feed the hungry and then refers to the bible as if that is God's work.. Taking from one to give to another who is lazy.

An idle mind is the devils workshop., taking drugs stealing. so many people think about robbing someone instead of working for a dollar. Big difference.. Toil is good says the bible. Laziness leads to poverty it is written.
