Why would she say that, knowing she was on live Tv?

She was quoting an accused killer. I don't think it's a big deal. Sounds less stupid than saying F*** N-word. Of course, she could just say that the accused used a racial slur, but then pushing the bar is always good news because it creates news for itself to report.

Because stirring up racial tension is good for ratings. That has become obvious over the last month or so.

It's OK if CNN does it. Now if you or I did it on the news we would be slammed.

She could have edited out those comments and made her point. Let's flame the Race issue, it makes better news.

for some perspective, imagine if a fox news anchor had done the same thing.

there would be an angry mob of leftists heading to fox headquarters right now equipped with ropes, tar, and torches.

The bar has been steadily lowered as to what is shown and said on TV for several decades now. Susan Candiotti and CNN just threw the bar off the cliff.

Not if FOX were actually quoting someone, instead of making things up as is their wont to do.

"Wont" to do? That implies habitual lying. How many things can you name that Fox has made up?
