Can't wait for those inner cities that use mass transit to start paying huge price increases when gas is used less and less.

After a brief rise in offshore oil production thanks to Bush administration policies, domestic production on federal lands has declined under Obama by 275,000 barrels per day from its 2010 peak and by 17,000 barrels a day since he took office in January 2009, according to a Congressional Research Service report.

The Institute for Energy Research reports that crude oil and lease condensate production on federal and Indian lands is 13% lower than in fiscal year 2010.
Lies here. You are talking about offshore drilling only correct?

Crude Oil Production

Whether offshore or not US oil Production is at it's peak correct? Whether private land or public correct? Don't distort the facts for your agenda.

Is US Oil Production at its highest point in years?

What was the price of gas in June, 2008, when your boy Bush was in power?

I have no dog in this fight except for the American people but until you stop lying to yourselves and believing the nonsense from our politicians I have no choice but to find you incompetent of only following the party rhetoric and only being deserved of ridicule, sarcasm and being made fun of. Voting party is voting for the destruction of this country. Grow an opinion.

Seriously? Did you remember how much the price of oil increased under the last President? Come up with something a little more original.

I thought presidents have no control over oil prices.

Sorry to throw cold water on your fantasy, but Bush still holds the record for the highest average gas prices in US history. Gas prices have shot up this year but they have STILL not reached the peak average of the summer of 2008.

You nailed it on the first sentence. He's doing this so that the economy won't improve, as high gas prices also affect vacationers, travelers (business or otherwise), courier drivers, truck drivers (so they can carry goods cross-country), and airlines, just to name a few. That's just only one part of Darth Barry's mission to destroy America, piece by precious piece.
