I strongly disagree. The usual mix of self-victimization and paranoia of a country that has long changed from a victim into a perpetrator.

There is an interesting discussion on that whole Israel mess going on in Germany these days after a German Nobel prize of literature winner (Grass) has published a (linguistically rather ugly) poem critical of Israel and Germany's blind support of it.

If Jews really believe god will always save Jews in the end, they are utter fools. That is a dangerous way of thinking as it might lead them to do stupid things rational people wouldn't do, and no gods won't help anyone, that much is certain.

It's a ridiculous assertion. Hell, beyond ridiculous. And he's supposedly a smart guy.

He needs to back off the melodrama just a bit.

Paranoia and propaganda, nothing more. War-Mongerers, Zionists and NeoCONS will never let up so long as people allow themselves to be influenced by fear.

If Ben Stein is truly concerned about his safety, simply don't live in the most violent and volatile area in the History of the World. America is a wonderfully safe country for people of all religions.

Just another lame attempt at disguising offensive military action as 'defense'.

Thoughout the history of man there is plenty of evidence that he is all too willing to repeat the mistakes and horrors of the past.

If Israel has nothing to worry about then why are we so worried about Iran getting a nuclear bomb?

Couldn't agree with you more. Nettie has been using this "claim" since getting the itch to invade Iran.

I think for anyone to make that claim is an absolute disgrace and an insult to those who died/survived the holocaust.

Israel has it's own little holocaust going on with the Palestinians. They only thing they learned from the past is how to conduct a holocaust against another religion in a more present day "acceptable" manner.

So I guess they think pulling the religious victim card will work for them??

For those that don't believe a holocaust can occur again, remember Rwanda and Bosnia.

I don't think the whole sale slaughter of people as occurred under the Nazi's will occur again, and especially to the Jewish people, but genocide is still a problem in the modern world, and the United States and other countries don't always intervene.
