This is a great example of how your education system is failing...Accepting myth in favor of fact is what is standing in your way, and this illustrates why myths such as creationism are not an alternative to reality (evolution) and have no place in schools except perhaps in a mythology class.

I don't accept myths - the proof is that I reject evolution.

You're consistent...

I have written records to verify my claims. You only have conjecture based on a flawed theory for which the validity of was even questioned by Darwin himself. Solid evidence for your position is lacking.
Yeah, its why I don't advocate deriving the Hardy Weinberg equation in high school classes. There's no reason for the students to know it, it confuses them more than it clarifies things and it takes time away from talking about speciation/reproductive isolation mechanisms.
Teachers spend SO much time on HW. It's fine if you have other goals: reinforcing quantitative skills or introducing say, Chi square analysis. But if you spend a lecture just on that? In an intro bio class where there's a gazillion other things to touch upon, I just think that lecture could be better spent.

Which means that you do not take the Bible literally.
Its just that you've not asked him for any evidence.
