Mrs. Romney did have money, and also breast cancer and Multiple Sclerosis.
She raised her children the same as anybody does, as best they can. Perhaps she didn't have to worry as much about having enough peanut butter and jelly for their school lunch bag, but her sons had the same questions, broke the same windows with baseballs, had the same problems dating that all kids have. Money is just a tool, not a defining factor of the basic human animal. We all have the same amount of basics to learn as children, reguardless of wealth. There may be a different skillset later, and more opportunities for school and travel, but the basic human child isn't that much different.
Kids don't care is someone is flat broke or is filthy rich, all they care about is if they were loved and that their parents invested time and effort to raise them to be good productive citizens.
Petty jelousy over money, or to further a political bias is simply pathetic.
Wow, I would love to find the portion of conservative brains that let them rant about being type cast to badly behaving conservatives...and then think every liberal marches in lock step to what ever any liberal (self described or assigned by them) said.
If you don't want this done to you, don't do it to other people. Like that old guy, what was his name, Jesus said. Also don't state some one else did it some time before so you get to now...all it shows is you know that it's wrong but want to do it anyways.
Personally, I had never heard the political jouralists name before she said it.

Oh for heavens sake--it's no big secret that Ann Romney hasn't had to worry about money, although she's had other concerns, like her health. Mitt specifically pointed to her as his adviser on women's economic issues based on her "experience" in that area. Her experience isn't a whole lot like any of the women I know. That said, I don't think you have to go through economic struggles to empathize with people who do--some people just naturally get it, and others don't. It's up to the voters to decide if Ann Romney can understand their concerns or not...

And this makes Ann Romney 100% qualified to discuss parenting issues, raising large family issues, raising all-boys issues. It does not make her uniquely qualified to address her husband's campaign questions about the economic woes and issues that everyday women in America face when confronted with dwindling salaries, rising health care costs, day care costs, or running a household on one limited salary.
Jealous much!! The left hypocrisy just shines. So now there are limits and levels of SAHMs and I guess you are qualified to define and qualify each? NOT!
What the hell does jealousy have to do with it? Zero would be the correct answer. It's a hell of a lot easier to be a stay at home mom, or anything for that matter, if you have $250,000,000
Is this gonna be the new mantra from the right, calling us "jealous" everytime we criticize any of the Romneys?
