Now I was going to post something along the line that combination of a Salvadorian gang teaming up with a Mexican cartel is an unnerving development. I was thinking that this could be an worthwhile discussion about the cost and benefits of the drug war and how such organizations can be eliminated. Instead we have a discussion designed to be just another partisan slagging contest. Oh, well.

I don't see such organizations ever being eliminated. They make so much money and there recruitment pool is so large.
