Here we go again, I wonder how much the UN will pay these maniacs this time. If anyone doubted lil Kim would be like his daddy, I guess we know for sure now.

NKorea launch draws anger as failure wounds pride

NKorea launch draws anger as failure wounds pride | General Headlines | Comcast (http://xfinity.comcast.net/articles/news-general/20120413/AS.NKorea/?cid=hero_media - broken link)

PYONGYANG, North Korea — A rocket launch North Korea had hailed as a moment of national pride ended in failure Friday when it disintegrated over the Yellow Sea, earning it embarrassment as well as condemnation from a host of nations that deemed it a covert test of missile technology.

In a rare move for Pyongyang, the government admitted that the rocket did not deliver a satellite, but it also pressed ahead with grandiose propaganda in praise of the ruling Kim family.

Rocketry is a learned perversion punctuated with lots of unexpected violent self disassembly. I expect they will learn how to make these things work. Then they will sell them to anyone with cash. Interesting time ahead as a ballistic missile with accurate terminal guidance becomes a tactical missile as well as a strategic weapon.

NO, it is NOT worth stating a war with North Korea over this.

I think it's a ruse to get more extortion money. every time something like this happens, there's a flurry of talks, and NK winds up the richer for it.

You are probably correct. I do not see why anyone is paying these monsters anything. I hate to stave the Korean people but aiding the gangsters at the top is rediculous.

Watch, it will either be oil, or food, or cash. It always happens.

Probably more accurately = NK winds up less miserably poor.

Sadly the people bearing the brunt of this are probably the scientists, engineers, and generals involved in the launch and development of the vehicle. Off to prison camp for their families, who's next to try?

Maybe it was meant to fail.

But, but, but this is all impossible.

Jimmy Carter solved everything in NK like a decade ago and got a Nobel Prize and everything.
