Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius sought to cast the two-year-old reform law as a vital weapon against racial disparities that have long condemned U.S. minorities to higher infant mortality rates, shorter lifespans and limited access to medical services.

More race baiting from the administration of The Race Baiter In Chief.

I am almost embarrassed for this idiotic administration. The thought that they would even consider Sharpton as helpful or A positive influence is crazy......and kinda scary.

Rousing the welfare crowd for more votes.

Civil rights activists and the minority communities they represent are a key segment of Obama's Democratic base, whose support he could need in great numbers to stave off a Republican challenge in November, especially if the high court strikes down his signature domestic policy achievement.
Promise more free stuff, tell them they deserve it and that it's threatened to be taken away.

There may be riots in the streets if Obama gets his way.

Black people...specifically black liberals.......can you believe it? You've spent all these years proclaiming that Al Sharpton doesn't represent you, and the next thing you know the first (half) black President calls on him to parrot his policies. The President must really hold Sharpton to high esteem!

LOL

If your Messiah Obama believes in Sharpton, then I guess you folks will have to as well! Or for once in your life you'll have to denounce Barack Obama for something.

Such a conundrum indeed!

That must really chap your ass!

Did you? Show me where it says anybody from the administration asked Al Sharpton personally to help defend "Obamacare." That's what the title of this thread says.

All y'all saw was Sebelius and Sharpton in the same sentence and jumped to conspiratorial conclusions...as usual.
