In America, shootings are just a normal part of every day.
The NRA is a holy institution.
Usually, the only shootings that get any attention are those where the victims number in double digits.

Too bad most killings are done by young adult and teenage blacks, a very large number of them wouldn't be allowed, by law, to purchase a handgun anyway let alone possess one But, let's not let facts get in the way, emotion is far more fun than logic!
The fact is the people killed in abortions are primarily future Democrats, the people killed in shootings tend to be future or present Democrats. These deaths help maintain liberty.

Last I checked it was already against the law to shoot people. If someone is willing to disregard the laws that are already on the books, certainly, they aren't going to care about additional ones.
The only thing that gun control does is prevent law abiding citizens from protecting their lives and rights. The Second Amendment was created by the founding fathers of this country to ensure that they are not subject to tyranny and are able to fight for their freedoms.
