He is a Marine....
He volunteered to serve and accepted the terms of his service. He is subject to the UCMJ.
No Soldier, Sailor, Airman, or Marine is allowed to chose thier chain of command. We are not allowed to pick which leader will follow and which one we will disregard.
Lawful order. I love when someone uses the Lawful order argument. Well good luck with that one. You better be able back it up. Mutiny or disobeying a lawful order comes with extreme consequences.
This Marine knew this.

Absolutely right.

There is no place for dissension like this. We're not talking about Nazi guards refusing to gas Jews. We're talking about a Marine who made disparaging remarks about his Commander In Chief on the internet, for everyone to see.

That's about as dumb as it gets.

No you can't. Only Facebook can limit who sees your page, and your data is seen by more people than you can imagine since it's for sale.

~does't anyone read anymore?

Agreed. Clearly he blatantly ignored Article 88 of the UCMJ.

Doesn't matter...

Before anyone celebrates they probably ought to check out the Sedition Act of 1917 and the case that came before the USSC 249 US 211 (1919) Schenck vs. United States

And don't forget that Congress wrote the rules for the UCMJ
