Why would we be the first to feel the wrath? Not very logical. The vocal opponents will be the first to go. Unfortunately this means that they won't be around to say "We told you so" when the "useful idiots" finally learn their lesson.

With all the central planning and the stripping of our civil liberties visa-vi the patriot act, I'd say we arent to far away from a Red America in terms of quality of life.
