[quote=GregW;23928911]I agree with "carterstamp". They should have paid the girl. That was taking cheap way beyond reasonable. It amuses me that I always thought the Secret Service was composed of hard cases that never partied. What a bunch of complete fools. If I were president I would hire a bunch of ex Marines because I would never trust the Secret Service again.[/quote

This is a broad generalization and heresay; however, living in the DC area where there are a lot of Secret Service, you hear things. I am totally not surprised.

In law enforcement in general there is a mindset that differs from the reset of society. They almost feel above the law, powerful, and a bit egostistical. I come from a long line of law enforcement (father, husband, many friends) and I see the personality traits displayed by some of them. All my life I have been exposed to their corrupt partying and abuses of power (toward other people). The Secret Service are no different. That's not to say they are all this way. There are some good, rational level headed folks in these professions.

Vacation times:
Obama spent 61 days during his first 31 months in office.

Bush spent 180 days on his Crawford Ranch and at Camp David during his first 31 months.

Clinton spent 28 days on vacation during his first 31 months in office.

Reagan spent 112 days on vacation during his first 31 months in office.

So, in comparison, I'd say Obama isn't going so bad with his vacation time.

What on earth does Crawford have to do with the CIA scandal?
NOTHING.

This thread was and is not about vacation days for the President of the USA.

I could care less about the vacation of Obama or the vacation days of Reagan or Bush.

All of them probably needed the time off any way.
Not like any of them were exceptionally Lazy.

Even attempting to weave in this argument is silly and not even the issue on hand.

Its a futile attempt to hi jack a conversation.
There are probably hundreds if threads that you could vent your frustration.

Please inflict your poison on those threads.

Question.

I didn't know this until just recently but prostitution is legal in Columbia and I don't know of any law or policy that prohibits Americans from doing as the Columbians do when in Columbia (although I was shocked to find out that it is against the UMCJ for the military to engage with prostitutes, shocking!). So my question is this, would there be as much outrage if the SS in their off time piled in a van and headed to the Chicken Ranch in Nevada?
