Leave it to a bunch of pale people in one of the most inhospital places on Earth to give a big middle finger to the banksters! It's such a relief to know there are still people williing and able to stand up to the economic tyranny going on in the world at the hands of institutions like the Federal Reserve.. Sad to see America will probably never rise to the occasion ever again. Our country is rotten to the core with wallstreet and the banks and the dumbed down lemmings here have better things worry about like what Kim Kardashian had for breakfast or how many points Lebron scored.

I guarantee within minutes or the first page we'll have some posters lambasting this as anti-freemarket, socialism, blah blah blah. LOL Meanwhile America burns as the idiots stand up for an economic system that does nothing for them or future American generations except put them all in debt and steal their wealth.

Are you suggesting that the US government default on its Trillion dollar debt? How many trillions is that? Bankruptcy is part of the free market... its not socialism or anti-free market... Socialism would of required everyone to pay for someone else's debts..

No, we owe a considerable amount of money to other countries. But the debt we owe to the private bankers should definitely be dealt with. Abolished? Sure END THE FED go RON PAUL!. But it will never happen. Private banks print our money, and have our politicians by the balls. They have ever since 1913. It's the same "den of vipers" Jackson and Jefferson lamented against. It seems the Icelandic people have a better working knowledge of usury and banking tyranny than we do as Americans.

Who forced anyone to take any loan? Oh, government please bail me out because I was so stupid and greedy that I took out a loan I couldn't afford.

From the OP link..they did this 3 years ago when everyone else started printing money and borrowing from the IMF.

“Iceland followed the textbook example of what is required in a crisis. Any economist would agree with that.”

Yeah. Great move. The whole shift private debt onto public is a serious scam.

Kudos to my Icelandic brothers!

Once the liberty movement mobilizes, the Federal Reserve's days are numbered.

If anybody wants to know the truth about our/the global banking system (cartel) read: "The Creature from Jekyll Island" by G. Edward Griffin.
