First someone would need to factually prove how he is.

A very important note for Liberals to consider:

Dick Cheney has worked for several Presidents at many different levels across the political spectrum. He's no stranger to the wild and varying world of politics and people in DC. Even if you hate Dick Cheney, you have to admit that his 40+ years of perspective means something. Hate the message he brings....fine....but I think it's a bit narrow-minded to discount what he say just because you might worship Barack Obama. Cheney is politically astute, more experienced, and more personally involved with Presidents than you. He might well know what he's talking about when he sees a disaster in the Oval Office.

How'd that secret energy committee work out for you?

And that explains why so many GOP candidates are eagerly seeking Dick's endorsement.

He's never been a "hero" to me personally, but I don't discount his experience like hardcore liberals do.

Cheney is as entitled to his own opinion as anyone else is. I myself don't blame Obama for all the ills of this nation just as I don't blame bush and Cheney for the same. They had a lot of help from the house and Senate.
Besides Cheney deserves 10 bonus points for shooting a lawyer in the face...

So Cheney survives to spread his BS-

What DICK meant was that his Presidency didn't shove the US as close to Third World status as he wanted ...and Obama has slowed that down....for Repugnants that's a disaster.

Yes, he may. But, his performance as Secretary of Defense and Vice President indicate otherwise.

And, by the way, long experience doesn't necessarily equate to either success or being right. For instance, Willie Sutton was an experienced bank robber, but it didn't keep him from spending half his life in jail. Dale Earnhardt was an experienced race car driver too, but he still got killed. Bill Clinton was a long-time successful politician, but it didn't help him keep his pants up.

Dick Cheney's long service in government indicates only that he served a long time in government.

Who's discounting his experience?

It's his veracity that's called into question.

Time and again...
