Did the Apache OWN the land or did they wander from place to place?
They believed it to be their's. There was a fairly set boundary of land they lived within. There were (are) six sub-tribes and each lived within a different geographical location. Yes they were nomads within those locations.

No one is going to give up their culture in one generation...it takes a few to forget the past. Be patient and they will all be Americans in about 60 years....good luck...by then there will not be an America as we know it..
SA is a completely different case. All I am saying is that there is a reason why so many old cities and towns in the SW of the US have Spanish names. It was Hispanic territory before it became Anglo-Saxon... The Hispanic heritage also shows in architecture and other things.
Its anglo territory now.
Are you implying they are trying to take it back?
What I love about hispanics is that they are all solidly democrat and with more of them turning old enough to vote every year, more previously red/purple states will turn solidly blue.
Then the left can pass whatever laws they want and Republicans will lose whatever power they have left. So a permanent Democratic presidency is a real possibility.

They gave up everything else to move to a new country.
If they love the country they are moving to, they would embrace the culture & not be hostile to the country they are moving to.
The fact of the matter is that roughly half of all "hispanics" living in the US would be considered white by most people. Because of the ambiguity of the "Hispanic race", people like Cameron Diaz, Christina Aguilera and Marco Rubio are categorically lumped together with Mestizos (people of mostly indigenous ancestry) under the broader ethnic group of Hispanic. Eventually, the US census will probably categorize those who are of European/Spanish as simply white. I'm still not certain why the census distinguishes between white hispanic and non white hispanic, because in the end it doesn't really matter. It would be like lumping together a white person of English ancestry with a black Jamaican of African ancestry. Technically, the two would be considered "Anglo", because they share a common language and culture, but racially they are quite different. The same applies to Hispanics. There are black Hispanics, white Hispanics, Mestizo Hispanics etc...
So, my point is that the United States will mostly have a white majority for quite some time. People tend to forget that at one time Americans perceived the Irish and Italians as being non-white. Obviously that has now changed...
I really have no racial agenda here. I'm just presenting my interpretation of the facts...
Exactly! The notion of "Hispanic" as a distinct race is utter nonsense. As stated, ANY race can be Hispanic. Moreover, the Hispanic designation itself makes no sense, because it groups people of varying cultures into one racial category, solely on the basis of a shared language. If a large group of English-speaking Americans from all races moved to France, it would be absurd to classify them as a minority race simply because they speak English. When did language become the determinant of DNA and racial identity?
As I previously stated, at least 60% of Hispanics self-identified as "white" on the latest census. So, how on earth are they a "minority" simply because they hail from a Spanish-speaking country, or are of Spanish descent? I don't care what language is spoken, if you're white, you're white. We don't classify Caucasians from other non-English-speaking countries as minorities. But, for some strange reason, if the native language is Spanish, despite being white, they are classified as a minority in this country.
A distinction must be made between LEGAL Hispanic immigrants and Hispanic illegal aliens. The constant, deliberate conflation does a grave disservice to the millions of law-abiding Hispanic immigrants who have not only assimilated, but are American in every respect. I know lots of Hispanic immigrants, and they are all disgusted by this. It's akin to placing a shoplifter in the same category as a paying customer. Only a fool would not distinguish between the two. But, the disingenuous and agenda-driven must continue to group all as simply immigrants, whether here legally or illegally. And, they are all "brown" disenfranchised Hispanics, whether white, black, yellow, or polka dot. Without their manufactured racial component, illegal alien profiteers wouldn't be able to demonize opponents of illegal immigration by labeling all as racists, bigots and xenophobes. Sadly, many have fallen for this ploy hook, line and sinker.

You are sorely misinformed. ALL Hispanics are not Democrat. Nor do they all share your Reconquista dream.
Not deliberately or in an organized way, but automatically, just by living and multiplying there.
The president of Mexico implied colonization beyond its borders.
They do nothing to stop illegal immigration.
They sue the U.S for enforcing its laws.
