Sarah Palin was nothing more than a pathetic pawn put forth to disguise the Republican's anti-woman agenda.
The attempt by the democrat party to put forth sayings that are against women who have the ability to run for a public office is nothing more than a pathetic pawn. The democrats have railed very publicly against republican women. The poster whom I quoted previously had some less than nice words to say. Who exactly between these posts are saying derogatory comments about women? Are you one of them? And, are you a democrat?
I have looked for someone to write something that makes a lot of sense about this topic and finally here it is. Some won't like it, some won't read it, and some will agree.
Let me help the non-readers and all others by presenting the introductory lines of the article.
There are white lies. There are ordinary lies. There are big lies. And then there are lies that are so huge that it is difficult for a rational person to believe that such a lie has been attempted. The left's talking points about the GOP, contraception, and women in America in the year 2012 are based on the biggest[i] lie of our century: the GOP is attempting to ban contraception in America.
No surprises here roy ..... It truly appears that there are few if any real Democrats left in America ! ........................ and this is truly sad !
What we are unfortunately left with these days are the so called exceedingly pitiful "Looney Liberal" Democrats !
And this is the acute stigmata that continues to plague this great nation and all that it so proudly represented for so many outstanding years !
May the good folks in the States soon be rid of such a nightmare crew as these blighters represent !!! So Mote It Be !

You really think the Republicans are NOT trying to ban contraception and all other women's rights, like voting, in America. You are not paying attention to the Konservative Kampaign to do just that.

Lamar, the real problem is that the Democrat Party has been taken over by progressives and they just aren't as good people as the old Democrats were. I do hope that someday Democrats see what has happened and tries to do something about what happened to them.
They are the party of rich, old men who view women as not very bright baby bearers, sex toys and house elves.
Which of course, is why they had the second female VP candidate which was the ONLY femal VP pick that excited the average american, and why there were more women who won in congress, more female governors were elected, etc all under the R party.... because they hate women.
Actually, it's the left that hates women... especially women who don't agree, right down the party line, with everything they are told to believe. If you're a woman, if you don't bow down to the left's agenda and swallow their tripe hook, line and sinker.. then you're called all sorts of vile names. And not a single woman on the left will ever be heard to say that we all should be "allowed" to have differring opinions.
Nonsense. The Reps hate contraceptives because they give women control over their own bodies. Many Rep lawmakers have repeatedly attempted to ban contraceptives on the grounds that contraceptives do not allow an fertilized egg (aka a potential male and therefore a full human being) to implant.
The belief that the Catholic church -- an organization ruled by celibate men -- should get to dictate public policy on this issue is both laughable and insulting to the half of humanity. The further assertion that Republicans merely don't like abortion when many Reps want to completely outlaw it including in cases of rape and incest is also laughable.
The Catholic church should simply shut up. Celibate men have no right to dictate public policy for women. I am sick of their idiotic and absurd belief otherwise. At the very least the Catholic church should be taxed as it persists in inserting itself into the political sphere where it does not belong.

And athiests or non-religious people should not get to say what does and doesn't happen with the Catholic church! This isn't about politics or public policy, that was about religious freedom.. you know one of those annoying little rights we all have in the consitution. I know that so many on the left HATE that peice of paper and it keeps them from controlling everything the rest of us do, BUT until you can ACTUALLY burn it completely, you have to stick to it's rules!
The government CANNOT make a law for OR AGAINST a religious belief! The Catholic church is against birth control. That is their right, under the Constitution! And the government cannot force them to go against their religious tenents just because they want to!

There are OTHER ways of getting birth control! You can buy it yourself, at (i know the evil) Wal-mart (and MANY MANY other stores) for 4 - 12 bucks a month. You can pay for it out of pocket, without the discount (if you're too stupid to find a Walmart). You can go to work/school somewhere ELSE that DOES offer birth control on their insurance plans. Or YOU can decide to live without it. YOUR ability to get birth control is only limited by the church if you refuse to do any of the above!
