Not to the victim.

I don't see what difference it makes if you're dead. Seriously, why is there such a debate about this? If a bullet rips into your body, tears your flesh, tissue and muscle, and you either die immediately or bleed out, I doubt if it will matter if the weapon used to kill you was a knife, a poison dart, or a machine gun.

Since we both used the term "on patrol" are you trying to "convince others he had more authority than the rest of us" as well?
We used them in 2 different ways, but I can't blame you for your assumption, since you can't see my tongue stuck in my cheek behind the monitor.

I'm under the impression that a "regular" bullet could have gone through Trayvon and NOT killed him; yet little to no chance at all that he would not have been killed by the HP bullet. Not everyone who is shot dies.

It will definitely matter in this case...It would seem that because it was a hollow point bullet the entry wound cauterizes and therefore might explain the lack of blood on GZ...

Well, that might be true, because the hollow point is supposed to cause more damage, but when someone shoots another person, the goal is to kill, not maim. Hollow point bullets are very common and, after reading all of these posts, there are a lot more crazy people walking around armed and dangerous than I originally thought. My comment many pages ago about "cop killers" was taken way, way out of context and then became a major discussion, even after I said I misread a word. Just one word in a comment can change the entire meaning. Example:

Do you love me?

I do love you.

Do you love me?

I do not love you.

The incident isn't as benign as this post suggests. Here's the report on it, as well as the domestic violence papers.

according to court records, the law enforcement officer identified himself and showed a badge, Zimmerman responded with "F!@K You!"
