Indeed. All these years we've been teaching our kids to run from strangers who try to detain them...if we'd only known that they were just heroes like George Zimmerman.
And if he had run home instead of playing tough guy and confronting Z, then he would be alive, he made a bad choice in confronting Z, you never know who is armed.
Offhand, I can think of 3 'facts' repeated by the IAmTrayvons that turned out false.
The SPD never kept gz's clothes. False.
His body had no marks that could have come from punching someone [the funeral director]. False.
Clean tox test. False. Maybe skittles and iced tea were his choice of munchies, the 'looking about' was watching for cops, and the running was to dump the joint or pipe. Maybe not.
Nice try, but the report stated "TRACES" amount of THC which means anything from incidental contact high to smoking 30 days ago. BTW, very few people smoke pipes in public and no one really needs to "dump" a joint
If Trayvon Martin had repeatedly banged the back of GZ's head on concrete, GZ'z injuries would have been far more substantial than a few scratches. The extent of the injuries would range from hairline fracture(s) to the occipital to a concussion (traumatic brain injury) to a larger skull fracture. The fact that GZ did not require medical treatment speaks volumes to the level of danger that he was in during the altercation.
Also, if GZ's nose was fractured, why did he not follow up treatment with an ENT per the advice of the "family doctor"?
Maybe he shot TM before he could inflict more injury. Did that ever occur to you?
Trayvon may have sized up Zimmerman and felt he could take him given the size disparity, he was gonna beat hiz punk azz
Young males make great soldiers because they have the ability to suspend reality and feel invincible. Add drugs to the equation and you multiply his confidence.
And I feel sad that George Zimmerman's reputation was destroyed by a media who altered facts and by an ignorant public who believed and repeated what they heard.

Of course you feel sad for a man that murdered an innocent black child, you can feel even sadder for him while he is in jail trying to find out how really tough that he is
Very smart to release some of the information that shows Zimmerman might have been justified. Start creating an expectation of defeat if your case is weak. Larger societal implications to remove the catalyst for civil unrest if Zimmerman found innocent of charges.
Based on this evidence and the fact that the state s still prosecuting what they are doing is appeasing Sharpton and Co. by going forward with the trial knowing they would lose but it will at least (somewhat) show they tried but I highly doubt the state expects to win.
Releasing this evidence which basically shows more potential for self defense than for 2nd degree murder is their way of calming the masses. Also the weed in his system too. No way they expected to win and now this is going to taint any potential jurors.
Same old bulls*** from the left making excuses for their golden boy Trayvon. I have just one question, is it a crime to follow someone and ask questions? Is it a crime to assault someone? Only one of the above is actually a crime, making GZ innocent.
His record is clean, he has no convictions. Even the judge classified his run in with the undercover officer arresting his friend as common and dismissed any charges.
Had Zimmerman been black, that run-in wouldn't have been dismissed so readily.
