And have we had any "terrorist acts" while Obama was in the white house? didn't think so.
We even got Bin Laden
I feel alot safer with Obama in office than Bush, Romeny, or any other over-zealous nationalistic republican (Ron Paul being the one exception).
When in doubt, I look at whoever Ted Nugent hates and vote for them!
...then I listen to one of his records!
Oh, I doubt if Romney is interested in converting anyone! I would never judge a person by his religious beliefs unless I found them to be very offensive. Rick Santorum is a Catholic and he offends even Catholics I know. Michele Bachmann is a lunatic and Newt Gingrich is a sleazy hypocrite. However, I do agree with you that I'd rather vote for Obama than any of the Republican candidates I've watched campaigning this year.

By saying having a reasonable discussion with someone - Do you mean "try to see it Obama's way"?

Look, I don't have anything against you. I just see it the way I see it.

I can hardly blame Romney for that.

But I can blame Obama's policies.
I know people who were laid off in 2008 and blamed Obama too!

I didn't say she was stupid, did I? I always say she must be very intelligent to have a JD from William & Mary, but I think her beliefs are from the lunatic fringe. In fact, when someone began comparing her with Sarah Palin, I defended Bachmann. Palin is a lower class Bachmann.

Sorry to hear that. I'm not having an easy time making money either. I was planning to wait a few more years, but I'll probably start collecting Social Security at age 62.

Just to clear one thing up... It all depends upon where you dig, and your willingness to buy into everything you read, hook, line and sinker.

Maybe the ones who are converting are the ones who are open-minded enough to actually go to an accurate source for their information instead of relying on Chick tracts, etc.

P.S. I'm a Mormon who intends to vote for Obama.

OK - I got a chuckle out of that.

Obama is not Stupid. He's a Lunatic.

I'm 48 and not impressed with what Obama seems to think is good for our economy.

Just my opinion. And I'm going to vote against him.

How is one not offended by mormonism? And Romeny was a mormon missionary, someone who's sole job for 2 years is to convert people. Since religion preys on hubris and ethnocentricity, I'm not surprised how popular it's getting. An American religion, one that says people can become god-like, and one that has modern american prophets. What's not to love?
Maybe I'm crazy, but living in SLC for years has made me realize how strange and creepy a mormon theocracy really is. I know the whole country will never get to that point (hopefully), but do we really want Romeny as a president?
I think most people are just angry at Obama for being a secret Muslim, socialist, minority...maybe some have lost their jobs and blame it on the president. Also, the implicit anxiety that whites will no longer be a controlling majority in a few years (under 50%) probably play a part in causing many like Nugent to speak out. This also might be why gun sales have risen in the past 4 years.

But I promise you, however bad the country's gotten under Obama, you still have many more personal and social freedoms than you would living in mormon/republican-controlled Salt Lake City.

Explain the gay beatings in utah the police failed to act on last year, explain city creek mall, the zion curtain, state monopoly of alcohol, Utah's homosexual teen suicides, Utah's high affinity fraud statistics, Utah's high prescription drug abuse (especially among stay-at-home mom's), your religion's ridiculously secretive culture that demands an unquestioning acceptance of teachings contrary to science, reason, and basic american freedom. And you call all this open minded? I'm glad you are at least making some effort to swim against the current, as most members of your religion do not. And I don't think anyone who's lived in Utah as long as I have relies on "Chick Tracts" for information about the LDS church--everything done by them is up close and personal. It's not really a big deal for me, but given how it has affected many others--wouldn't we all be better off without it? I certainly think so...

You can play better? How many hits have you written? BTW, Nugent doesn't "speedpick", whatever that even means.
