Hear, hear!

It is about time someone questioned these lazy bums who skate by making burgers and tarring my roof and then have the gall to vote!?!!?

I'll go one further and say only multi-millionaires should be allowed to vote:

Heirs to fortunes, banking administrators, professional athletes, Kardashians. Those are the only people we should let vote. The truly successful. If they can't run the country, who can?

Hey,Lefty, I'm new to this forum, nice to meet'cha. Tell me please, are you named "Lefty" because you're politically Left, or because you're left-handed? Just curious. I might guess the latter. Ciao!

Heck, here in CO, food and clothes aren't exempt! That was the case when we lived in Illinois, too.

In case you hadn't noticed, those are the ones who have been trashing the economy.

Only states that dont mooch off other states should be allowed to vote.

And according to the latest IRS data, thoe states who DO NOT mooch off of the rest are:NJ, NV, CT, NH, MN, IL, DE, CA, NY, MA, WI, WA, MI, TX, FL and OR.

After all, our popular vote does NOT elect the President, STATE ELECTORAL VOTES DO, so why should moocher states have any say?

lol

Absolutely. Voting is not a privilege, it is a civic obligation.

I question your ability to judge who has a stake in this country, its society, and who is productive and contributes. As my mother would have asked: Who died and left you in charge?

Hate to break it to you but a majority of those that "pay no taxes" are republicans. You think all the southern states, which tend to be poorer, vote democrat?

In NM, they finally made food and prescription meds exempt a couple of years ago.

Yeah, you guys, some of those supposedly "moocher" states have very high sales taxes. And as everyone knows, that's a very regressive type of tax.

Can't tell for sure but just going by colors on the two maps, it appears that most get back about what they put in. So not sure where your mooching description comes from.
