Republicans will be the ones running the attack ads.
Okay, they are diverting money from it's original purpose to delay the effect of the legislation and make it less noticeable before the election.

correct, and you also have the concern about mobilizing older voters.

So, you 're defending this why?
Because Medicare needs to be cut, and Republicans don't have the sack to do it.

I'm not sure what they're diverting money from, or its 'original purpose', but yes I believe it is to delay the legislation's effects and make it less noticeable to voters.

I know that Carter is as white a man as can be, and he was ran out of office on a rail. The only one showing a racist bone are the ones crying racism for not supporting the worst president in history.

All he's done is print money to prop up his failing policies. All he's done is the exact opposite of what he promised in the first place. No racism whatsoever, just common sense awareness.

It's beyond Obama's intellectual capability to articulate correctly.

That's completely untrue. The Ryan plan cut Medicare by more than this but did it whout pulling the rug from under people that currently use it or will be using it the near future. The Democrats tabled it.

Cutting it for current and near-future seniors is the only way to get anything accomplished, deficit-wise.

Cutting it decades out ( like the Ryan plan ) is just a gimmick. The population bulge of post-war babies, in particular, need to be included in the cuts.

It's coming from a HHS fund that is supposed to fund studies - demonstration projects. Specific source aside, it's spending billions of taxpayer dollars on another purpose to hide the effects of legislation for the purpose of increasing his chances of reelection.

Oh, ok. That doesn't sound too bad, compared to the Republicans.
