I just read the transcript. I can't listen to him, either.
There was a transcript?
I didn't realize that and I sat through the full two minutes of him talking and the screen kept flashing Rush images! It was horrible! Two of the worst minutes of my life!
Where is that barf smilie????
Next time, I will be sure and look for a transcript rather than put myself through that torture again.
Anyone who regular watches Chris Matthews will appreciate his style, fairness and political insight. He has exceptional perception. I can't say what he was thinking with use of certain words. But it seems to me it's much fuss over nothing. However, I will say that my observation of the GOP primary season has demonstrated the core groups of party activists do not seem to be representative of the nation or the GOP traditionally. They're extremist in their views and actions. Including some of the racists which make-up the Paul core constituency, the oddballs in the Santorum campaign, etc.
Does that include his "fairness" in the last presidential campaign in which he felt a thrill running down his leg?
Ed Schultz - (not Shults) you really need to work on your spelling. Schultz made a one sentence statement, obviously knew as soon as the words fell out of his mouth that it was wrong, apologized (really apologized - not like Rush's NON apology) the NEXT DAY, and took himself off the air for a period of time. He didn't assault a young woman for three days and demand sex tapes of her; how you can try to say the two are the "same" is just another indication of your lack of maturity.
Bill Maher - again, you really have a problem with spelling, don't you? Eh - he's a comedian on a cable network. I'm not sure how many really listen to him, I'm not aware of him waging a 9-hour, non-stop attack on anyone, and he certainly is not a big fish in the Democratic party, unlike Rush, who has even presidential candidates groveling at his feet and afraid to cross him (see Romney).
Matt Taibbi - damn! you really should check your spelling before hitting that "submit reply" button! When he wages a three day assault on a young woman, get back to me.
And did Chris Matthews demand sex tapes from Hilary Clinton? Did he wonder how she could walk since she is having so much sex? What exactly (and please be specific) were the horrible things that he said about Mrs. Clinton?
Anyway......none of these, even added up, amounts to the same amount of time that Rush spent attacking Miss Fluke. And it looks like he's gearing up for a new assault.
A missed letter is not that big of a deal, as in the "e" left out of Maher.......sometimes spell check doesn't pick the right word and certainly not most names.
Get over it............looks like patience might have been just a slight problem when homeschooling..........
By the way she spelled Hillary correct and I believe you got it wrong
Chris Matthews is a dried up man, probably not getting much action these days............. if you know what I mean.
Chris Matthews is a commentator on a failed, last place network. Ironically, he has the BALLS to talk about extremists when his network is FULL of them...including himself.
Now, if someone on the right were to call someone like debbie wasserman schultz the 'Grand Wizard'....it would be twisted into RACISM...somehow making it a reference to obama being black. Yet the lefties here say...well...he retracted it...he apologized.
The double standard continuously exhibited by the left is simply commonplace these days.
Chris Matthews is just another A--! you know come to think of it he looks like someone who could be in the KKK.
Double standard, is such a complete utter understatement!
I sometimes wonder if Matthews just has absolutley no respect for his job and viewers or has something wrong with him. He may end up like Keith Olbermann driven out of the industry due to bizarre behavior and the alienation of his superiors. MSNBC is just getting crazy unprofessional.
