Why should anyone respond to your assertion of their beliefs if it's not their beliefs, other than to point out that your assumption of their beliefs is incorrect? There is no requirement to defend a position as your own simply because someone else asserts a ridiculous position as yours.
No one denies that racism exists, but many believe it's the rule and not the exception. I don't agree. When a writer is lumping all conservatives together, he's no better than people who lump all blacks together. Not everyone thinks the same. With some of the terms the writer uses (rednecks etc.) I would say he fails to see that he himself is racist, or at the very least predjudiced, towards whites.
The 2nd comment on that blog rings a lot of truth.
I guess some people just dont want to accept the reality that the world is changing, they are nervous that their past history lessons in class many moons ago will be just the thing to bite them in the butt.

Can I suggest that the media "doctored" the 911 call and failed to show the bloody cuts on that head that could well have been put there by the beating of the man's head on the sidewalk by the man on the top.
Oh well, the story got out of hand and more blogs than one, this being one of them, had lots to say with their own particular spin applied.
