This could double as a thread about our failed public education system.

Makes sense to me. Do your research, instead of voting for that person because he has a "D" or "R" in front of their names. If they don't have the people's interest at heart, and can be bought and paid for, DON'T VOTE FOR THEM!

One person makes sense and won't sell out america but it is so obvious no way he will get to Run unless as a independant and now way he will get the votes since the country is way too divided and polarized With the Continued polarization could lead to awful econmic consequences and the country is in dire straits and just drifting toward the falls.

ahhhh yes, but I mention the parties, b/c so many many people are loyal to they're parties, no matter how corrupt they are? People are so freakin hungry to have leaders to make decissions for them, that they will deny corrupt behavior.

Yanno, what I always think about? When does it become easy for a leader like Hitler to take over? the Answer: When people become desprate and hungry...

it's just b/c our country has become so detached, corrupt and lacks not only pride in our work, but accuracy....and today with all our technology, not to mention, as someone else said, the decline in our school systems...does anyone ever ask themselves why? Does anyone ever notice how in almost every election, it bounces back and forth, back and forth, and each leader is worse...we loose more rights and freedom as each party takes over...our country is declining, and nobody seems to want to admit to themselves, that our parties are corrupt...as well as the CEO's and leaders of huge corporations...they care nothing about quality, it's all about robbing everyone to be filthy rich, that is all they care about...
I heard Hannity mention the other day, how the rich create jobs?????/ What jobs...all the huge corporations are in the process of moving out if they already haven't. Hannity is so far to the right, he is definately an extremist, but so are a lot of deomocrates. We've also become a country of quick fixes and to heck with thinking long term?????? Sadly, that is the culture that is ruining America....

The rich sure created millions of jobs, but they're in China. The unemployment rate over there is only 4.1%. But if you complain about rich CEOs sending America jobs to China, the Republicans would surely accuse you of being anti business.

That's true, and it's all because of the right wing fascism that is plaguing both sides of the isle.

And the Democrats are advocating for illegal aliens to remain here and retain American jobs so what is the difference? They will do anything for the Hispanic vote. Either way we are screwed. I'd rather see our jobs outsourced than to be overun with illegal aliens who are also sucking up our tax dollars.
