Sorry no, Romney isn't half Mexican. Mexican is a nationality and Romney was born here. Just because his father was born there doesn't make Mitt Romney half Mexican by any stretch of the imagination.
Politicians always are trying to appease different groups. Blacks, whites, hispanics, NRA, catholics, etc. Every group votes differently based on different issues. Quit acting like that doesn't happen. We hear it about it all the time, obama has the woman vote, romney has the old white guy vote. That is the way it works. This country benefits people in different ways.

What other group is asking that and why should any politician appease a group that has no respect for our laws? That is a complete negative for our entire country. You are comparing apples to oranges when you compare the desires of other citizens to the desires of a certain group to disrespect our laws for votes.
Quit acting like you are in some fantasy idealistic world. We americans do not all benefit from the same thing. Rich white people do not benefit from having obama as the president, and poor minorities do not benefit from having a republican. If we all benefited the same way, we wouldn't have a two-party system that are on completely different ideological sides.

Lately on the news outlets I have seen these stories that "Romney will have problems getting Latino votes" because of his stance on "illegal immigrants".
So my question is..
Why should "Americans of Latino descent" care about illegals? I mean it really makes no sense at all,if some person runs across our southern border and enters America illegally....why would Latino/Americans (and I HATE HATE when people hyphenate America with any other country) care? So by a politican trying to help America by getting illegals out (and yes it does help out America)......You fault them?? Makes no sense. The only reason why Latino/Americans would care is if they have more of an allegiance to their "old home country" then America and personally I think it's pretty sickening!
My ancestor came from Italy and Ireland and honestly I could careless what happens over there and if I knew that our govt. was deporting illegals from those countries that are here.....I DON'T CARE!!!!
Because laws that target illegal labor become excuses to harass latinos. If you have brown skin and/or speak with an accent, you will have to prove your citizenship over and over again. Do you carry your birth certificate with you always? How do we know you didn't fake it?

Nonsense, you are just spouting the pro-illegal alien propaganda! No one is harrassing Latinos and certainly no one is being harrassed based on their skin color or accent. No Hispanic-American has to prove their citizenship over and over. The only way any Hispanic is stopped is because of a violation of a law just like everyone else is. And just like everyone else they are asked to show their ID which is standard procedure for everyone. Only if they can't provide a valid ID can questions about their status occur. No one is required to carry their birth certificate either. Stop with the lies!
