Looks like I was totally incorrect about the amount of money GZ spent, I stand corrected and I do apologize...the above report was just posted on WFTV's website..

Considering that the page was created before he was even arrested and he has spent over $50k of the money so far, it should have been disclosed at his bond hearing. Availability to a huge lump of cash is something that has to be looked at when judging his flight risk.

Not surprising. Many cowards that talk that way.

What I did notice at the bond hearing...the family members consistently stated about finances "Not that I'm aware of", I thought it came off as pretty cagey and evasive at the time, turns out it was...

Over $50,000 to "set up a new home?"

Just how much are rent and deposits in Florida?

Can Zimmerman be trusted after this lie? He allowed his own family to testify saying he has no money. His whole story should be questioned.

Attorney: Zimmerman had $200K from web donations
For clarification,

When did he make the statement to the judge about having no money?

When did the web site appear?

When did the web site attain $200k?

I know, details, details, details.

I know, right?! He supposedly is out of the state somewhere, must be nice to have 50K at your disposal to set up house...

Not surprised someone as brave as you would try and convict someone of being a coward BEFORE ALL the details are in and the trial being over.

It is real brave to call someone names behind keyboard.

Website was launched on 4-9-12, GZ was arrested on 4-12-12.

It would seem that while he was in jail the account grew to 150K by the time of his bond hearing, now unless there are jailhouse videos where his brother or a family member disclosed what was in the account, I don't see how GZ would have known the amount at the bond hearing, with that said, his family may have known particularly since they were awful cagey about their answers about the finances i.e. GZ's wife consistent answer to financial questions was "Not that I'm aware of"...

An additional 54K was donated between the end of the bond hearing and Wednesday...It would appear that about 5K was used towards GZ's bond and 50K has been spent since he got out of jail on setting up house outside of Florida...You would think his lawyer should have questioned where he got the money to do this...
