Better inform these people. Apparently, they didn't get the memo.

Sorry, post # 8 is useless, it has no substance, no good information, thank you for playing.
Please, feel free to post those "jobs bills" that the House passed.

BTW, here is the link to substantiate the bills I posted in #8.

The GOP has passed legislation since they have taken control of the House, just none that has anything to do with job creation.

-Voted to repeal health care reform

-passed a bill to undermine our ability to provide a healthier environment for our children,

-Voted to protect taxpayer subsidies for Big Oil and speculators

-Voted to provide more tax cuts for millionaires, and protect tax breaks for corporations shipping jobs overseas

-Voted to cripple public radio stations

-Voted to cut off key federal funding for Planned Parenthood

-restricted how women with private insurance can spend private dollars in purchasing health insurance

Where are the jobs???
This is the worst senate in decades, they sit on everything, and vote on nothing. So when you claim that the Republican lead congress is not doing anything, all you are pointing out is that Sen. Harry Reid is refucing to vote on the many bills and budgets passed by congress, and submitted for action by Reid.

"Where are the jobs"?? They are sitting in a dusty, mile high pile in Reid and Obama's In Basket.

There is no such thing as a "jobs bill" unless you mean a bill to add more federal payroll jobs. Congress does not create jobs, they can only adjust our tax policies and regulations to help promote for the general welfare of the private sector, ie... create a regulatory and tax climate that promotes job creation.

Time and a gain your posts show you are without a clue as to how our government is supposed to operate. We are not a centrally controlled, nicer version of China.

The bill is something of a greatest hits of Republican economic proposals. It calls for repeal of the new healthcare law, a balanced-budget amendment, expansion of offshore oil drilling and a tax overhaul that would lower rates and eliminate corporate loopholes.
You mean they are going to get rid of regulations to open off shore drilling and over haul the tax code to remove all the red tape (including loop holes) so businesses can operate with less government intrusion....DAMN THEM....

What is the worst that can possibly happen by removing regulations to offshore drilling?

Mainly because most of them are tied to something other than jobs, mainly tax breaks for the wealthy or some other nonrelated slush fund
