My former work place is a high school that is in the same region as Carol City Sr, one of the high schools that Trayvon attended. I see former colleagues frequently, and just two nights ago one of them said that a number of her students knew Trayvon from middle school and/or the community. When the "thug" photos first surfaced, those students immediately said they were not of the Trayvon Martin who was killed by Zimmerman.

There are c-d posters who are still referring to the false photos as evidence of Trayvon's criminal tendencies. The info in this thread bears repeating.
