Funny, I thought it might have more something to do with the rightward lean of this forum. It seems just as facile and juvenile as putting somebody down because they haven't been registered very long. I personally think just about every poster here at least sometimes has interesting things to say.

Anyway, while we're here in a thread of interesting and random factoids, General Patton took part in the first modern Olympic pentathlon. He placed in fifth, a very strong showing. Why wasn't he higher? Because he did poorly in the pistol shooting event.

Luckily, this didn't prevent Patton from being a brilliant general during World War II.
