Where would this be? Maybe you need to tell old Sam who to quote.

Yep.

And each country is different. Most are having problems because the Euro is having problems.

But let me set this straight, no one is advocating a European system in these United States. But there is an in between, its not an all or none situation. The problem that we have is that our politicians seem to be all, or none.

all this because you're worried that the states can't take care of their seniors or their sick!

My, you've got one great sense of priority
Why is the question directed at Democrats? You would think Republicans have even more reasons to vote for Paul, but they are supporting a big government Romney instead.

I don't think so. the GOP and especially in the bible belt would be raising holy hell to make sure it stays illegal. We would see the "war on drugs" crap brought back in full force to gain votes I bet.

Trust me, living in Ohio we have a bible belt as well. There is a push to try and get medical weed on the ballot, and they have necessary signatures to do so, however; I don't think it will pass the first time around. It took forever for Ohio to finally approve casinos. Sooner or later though people are going to have to wake up to lies which lead to it's prohibition.

Those days are long gone. The majority of Americans are against Marijuana Prohibition (60% last I saw) and the percentages get higher and higher as those indoctrined with the propaganda continue to pass on. Why Obama wishes to continue (and even increase spending) for the self-destrutive drug policies is beyond my comprehension.

You can fool some of the people all of the time, all of the people some of the time, But you can't fool all the people all the time.

there aren't any. new zealand has done some encouraging things around farm subsidies and prostitution. portugal decriminalised drugs, all of them, as far as economic liberties go, every country is going in the wrong direction, and it's getting worse very quickly

i'll do one for republicans at a later stage. they annoy me too btw. constantly bleating on and on about limited govt. they then get a real limited govt candidate and they fall asleep. it's infuriating
