You would be hard pressed to show a correlation between gun ownership and violent crime.

For example cities such as Detroit, St. Louis and Philadelphia all have appalling murder rates and all three are located in states that extremely liberal gun laws, while New York City with the most conservative of gun laws has one of the lowest (relatively speaking).

Everyone would be so much safer if there were multiple parties exchanging gunfire everywhere. Especially in a place as crowded as NYC.

As opposed to only criminals firing at unarmed people? Sure, makes life much safer for the criminals.

So-called gun free zones equates to OSHA for criminals, a safe work environment.

They shoot an unarmed woman. What worthless human trash. An activity as simple as going to a deli ends in a senseless shooting. The thugs are running wild and have no concept of human life. They kill-KILL unarmed citizens for anything and everything, From wanting the latest Iphone to their conceived notion of "respect." Kids and women being shot and have no way of protecting themselves. What a glorious society we live in.

And for the other OP's posts, You are right. Guns are a tool. The act of violence comes from the person.

Or worthless bottom feeders ion this case.....

Can't stand people who get to the front before they start trying to figure out what to order myself. Probably fortunate I am not armed.
